I think the best option for you to try and track down Gillette's work is going to be either A.) Tracking her down and requesting to hear the music. It really shouldn't be too hard. I heard she moved to Houston. She was in Peek-a-boo Revue for a few years--a burlesque dance squad. They have a MySpace page; whether that page has been tended to since 2008 and the death of MySpace is in the air. Or, B.) Track down one of the two guys that made up 20 Fingers Production. They had several acts in the early-to-mid-90s--not just Gillette & Roula. I know they released a "missing tracks" compilation around '98--since Did I Say That is circa 2003-2005, they must have more stuff. Then again, I think DIST was going to be released by a different company--not sure if any 20F ties exist to that exact album. I was in Chicago in March trying to track down the remnants of 20F--NO ONE remembered them. Sad how quickly history is erased. BEST OF LUCK!! Tell me if you have any luck--I'll do the same.

I saw your post on Gillette's wall. "Did I Say That?" was supposed to be released February of 2005... Her single "Sex Tonight" was released to area clubs and it was for the most part panned. "Did It Say That?" ended up never making it to shelves of CD stores--the company lost its distribution deal and didn't think the album was worth the hassle. There are a few pre-release copies out there, but as you can imagine they're few & far in between. Most people with them likely don't know what they're holding in their hands.
