Go ahead and listen to an actual Death Metal track. Play, for instance, Devourment - Babykiller, and you'll see that the music is hardly depressing. Its more violent and brutal. Death Metal being a violent Genre of music, its not ever going to be anything but that. Second, you say Death Metal vocalists cant sing. Is it worth me asking wether or not you've ever heard of Mikael Åkerfeldt? Front man of Opeth. Listen to any song from their 'Damnation' album and tell me the man cant sing. I dount you've done that because like the ignorant fuck you are, you've probably heard, maybe, 4 Death Metal songs and jumped to the presumption that all Death Metal is Drop B tuned noise? You want to accuse a music genre you clearly know nothing about of being tallentless? And then claim your not ignorant? Yeah, because that works o.O
