As you can tell from my charts, I don't listen to Linkin Park that much. I like them because they are dudes that are pretty down to earth and have a good relationship to their fans, which is a cool thing imo. So why I don't like it.. I guess my shout already expressed almost everything. I think there is much more potential in there, the mix of the electronic stuff with some more of a guitar/bass/real drums-area would have been really cool if combined right. But most of the songs only consist of the rap parts, a catchy chorus and that electro-beat stuff. And they use that formula on many songs on the album. However, whats even more sad for me is, that there are some good points. The beginning of Blackout is really nice, with it's dark and hopeless mood that matches to the concept. But then some quirky electro-keyboard thing sets in and ruins the whole atmosphere. You can't force people to listen or to not-listen, though. So enjoy it if you like it and everything is fine ;)
