Hello from Hannover, time really flies... you use lastfm for >4 years :-) How does that make you feel, being an "oldtimer" around here? ... When you look back now - how did your musical exploration pan out over time? ... Wishing the best for your upcoming 120k scrobbles milestone... How I came by here? ... lastfm shows you as #3 in this weekly "Scrobble Leaderboard" charts: last DOT fm/user/sospecialr_/listening-report/week ... I am at #1 there ... nice to meet you

Greetings from China. It sucks that I didn't get notified by Last.fm but nvm it was nice hearing from you. Being a member of Last.fm and scrobbling all the music works I've listened to so far got me feeling rather achieved. By the way, I literally got impressed by your craziness for Mandarin pop music, for some of the singers are much less known to Chinese people. Nice to meet you ;-) P.S., how dow you like western pop music and what do you think of J-Pop?

Yeah, lastfm should bring back such features (notification, ...) :-( About my library: a friend introduced me to Asian music,and lastfm + spotify helped extend it. Before joining lastfm, I listened lots of "western" music (e.g. I was into R&B etc.) but here on lastfm I have then switched completely to what I listen to. Japanese music, is ofc, also nice :-) In general I have noticed about my scrobbling: I had a few phases, every 2 or 3 years: then I am switching completely the music genres I listen to daily, rarely I listen to the old genres then... except the last few weeks: I am listening to the loved tracks on spotify (I noticed, that I didn't mark those as "loved" on lastfm :-() ... That's super awesome. I can say right now you are literally an expert on Asian music since you've been this familiar with so many Asian singers and their songs. It always makes me feel so wonderful that all of the songwriters of every genre out there in this industry produce such a big amount of music for us to explore.
