Sent! Also, since you're going chronologically I would check out the B Sides album if you liked To Bring You My Love: http://www.discogs.com/PJ-Harvey-The-B-Sides/release/1482013 It actually came out as a special edition of the album and was mostly recorded in the same sessions. It's very raw, aggressive and dirty. Long Time Coming was Send His Love To Me's bside and is a terrifyingly wicked song. I didn't see Dry in your plays, did you skip that one? It's a really good album, it's a less abrasive Rid Of Me - twisted, melodic and catchy. I find myself listening to the demo version of that album–Dry (Demonstration)–more now as well. There is SO much material with PJ - and I really like it all.

Thank you!! I love unique artists that are really involved and into what they do. That's probably why I'm a huge iamamiwhoami fan as well. Is This Desire? took the longest for me to get into but one day it just really clicked. It hypnotized me, just like The Wind is doing for you now. I actually wrote an album review about it for a friend's magazine that really encompasses how I feel about its brilliance. I'll message it to you shortly!

Hmm, it can be hard to suggest stuff since every album she puts out is so different from the last! Dry sounds similar to Rid of Me though so you might like that, and Dance Hall At Louse Point (her first album with John Parish) sounds a bit like To Bring You My Love at times.

My last.fm friend most beloved! I’ve just been given a new and neo-nazi esque weave and so as to forget these follicular troubles have spent the evening dancing to madonna and altogether too many horrific anthems (needless to say miley was amongst them – how that effort has taken hold, who knew?) Have you heard the tidings, Newsom, our one and most beloved in some Pynchon/Paul T. Anderson fare! What have you to say, what have I??? Too much I think, all too much for a message to contain. My latest lover, the one I perhaps mentioned, sees me in Edinburgh quite a lot. How it pains my soul. Just the other day I thought how this cesspit did perhaps have a certain gothic splendor that I had overlooked…but no, the doom settled, the incomprehensibility of the tiny dwelling became too much and I simply fled back to wholesome embrace of glasgow and all its admittedly busted charms. But what of you, what of summer life on the west coast. What of dreams and hopes and zadie??

Hi Ryanc55! We saw that you have a pretty good taste in music and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmTj6CzmAp4 ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! I am in London on May the 27th to see the Book of Mormon! Praise the lord god gwyneth for such a happy coincidence :D (alas the knife's website was being so hateful when I tried to book tickets - it's a daily struggle to go on)

I know, he’s, such a gift, and just when you thought I couldn’t become any more loveable. His wife was also called comisa and you just know what the partial dyslexic in me giddily read that as.

I might not be too surprised. It is okay; I receive recommendations every day I often never give attention to, they to fade away unlistened and unknown. Understanding your statistics and therefore your musical taste, though, I sincerely believe you would have enjoyed them. Might have been more excited as well because it will be the first show of the year of which I will be wildly anticipatory after what I feel is kinda a concert dry-spell. Hm, ah well. My empathy in your studies, as well, possibly made more harsh after this past week of willfully imposed suspension while the city hibernates through our annual week of winter. Very much enjoyed my brief time in the snow. Hope you did as well.

Heya. Holidays were really good, actually; thanks. I returned to spend time with family for the first time since moving here sixteen some months ago. More school, now, Winter quarter having just begun, cheering on my besieged immune system, a new massive commission in addition to reoccurring work, tending to relationships, and you know, all those things commonly associated with life. Seems I will always be occupied with something. The small hiatus the university granted was severely insufficient. Yes- you should listen to the Sleigh Bells. One of my more enjoyed groups and a considerably unique sound. I would make the track "Rill Rill" your first listen if you have never heard anything by them. Perhaps you would find something of value. Good health and other such cliche wishes, cheers.

I'd start out with The Crying Light, although I Am A Bird Now won him the mercury prize before that came out. The Crying Light is just his best! x

Well I spent a couple days in Tacoma, and the rest of the week in Seattle. Have you lived there your whole life? I'm most likely going to be back in the Summer, so maybe I'll see ya around (:

Trust me, I missed plenty of shows when I was under 21. I feel your pain! Oh yay, she's fun! I actually don't listen to her a lot, but I've seen her a few times. So do you live in Seattle? I visited Tacoma a few times earlier this year, and I want to move there so badly... They are going well. It's not too cold here so it sucks. What are you up to for the Holidays?

Really?? Well I hope you get to see him soon because he's really great live. Haha, poor babe-ling, you. Listen to more Antony ;)

My apologies for taking half an age to respond. Too busy of a time recently. I managed to complete three finals, two commissions, obscene amounts of hours at work, and attend four concerts this past week. Think I compromised my immune system something fierce. I actually have been keeping a tab of the Sleigh Bells's new album. Immensely excited. I was indefinitely fortunate to see them a year ago with The Black Keys, Cake, Jimmy Eat World, and the Broken Bells. You should hear the single they released if you have not already done so (which I hope you have). Seems Reign of Terror will be every bit as incredible as Treats.

Well I really don't care for what bloggers say about her. Regardless of if she is manufactured, she has songs I enjoy and relate to. :)
