Glad you are keeping ok! Over here it's suddenly gone really warm for this time of year, considering how cold the temperatures were in December. Been raining a bit today. Was watching the news and at the moment it looks like that particular band of weather is covering a good part of Austrailia. Hope it clears as soon as possible for you all over there!

Brilliant gig last night! :D Sadly didn't get to meet them as James had the flu apparently!!! Poor bloke! I'll let him off this time! lol! British Sea Power were ace as well! Nearly got crushed to death though, goodness me it was just a bit packed! Manics were amazing of course! Brilliant night!

Ahahaha oh damn that means I probably saw you there anyway and didn't even realise. I was wearing the red plaid top thingo. Y'know at first I was really skeptical about there chances of coming back here however if they do end up going back to the USA anytime soon I might actually start to believe they'll come back. Besides you'd think Australia would be more of an incentive to them anyway since they always go to Japan and we're not that far off. /wishful thinking/ Yeah I was also surprised at their energy. James' voice was top notch that night. The one thing i'm pissed at is that apparently there's no audio recording of the gig and on youtube there's only videos of the everlasting (which is brilliant) and Australia. ;_;

SO FUCKING AWESOME. I still can't believe I actually *saw* them. I'm having major gig withdrawals. :P I WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF NICKY THE ENTIRE TIME. Where were you in the crowd? I was in the second row from the barrier pretty much right in front of Nicky's fluffy mic stand. I already looked up the setlist from the other aussie gigs beforehand so I kind of knew what they were going to play but I was so happy they switched from despair to la tristesse. How great was Faster though? EVERYONE in the entire venue was screaming EVERY lyric. And i thought the everlasting acoustic was really well done. What did you think of it? It has reignited my manics love that's for sure. Now they seem to be all I can listen to again atm. :P Hopefully this message sends and doesn't fuck up, my internet connection is a bit dodgy atm.

Sounds like they went down a storm in Brisbane. Bad news though. Apparently James said after this they won't be going back to Austrailia again! :( So make sure you enjoy your gig! (Could just be that he was knackered from jetlag, they were sleeping in the dressing room an hour before the show according to Wayne who's second name I can never remember, chap from Boy Cried Wolf!).

Manics are playing Leceister tonight so James' laryngitis must be a bit better. Hope he's careful with his voice though! I'd forgotten they were playing Austrailia in November. Alot of travelling to do! Glad it's not me having to do it! lol!

Birmingham gig has been postponed until the 14th of December. James was ill. :( Shouldn't be affected by the change of date though!

yes, i saw them live in vienna, but it was quite a while ago. i think it was the tour after "know your enemy". as for "postcards..." - i don't think it's one of their best, but overall i'm very satisfied. the first three songs are fantastic, i think. of course, an average manics album is always a great album. ;-)

Dunno what the new single will be. The song Postcards has gone on to R1's A-list I think but don't quote me on that one! :D Yep, not long to go!

Single got to #28, album got to #3. Not bad going for the album I suppose. Could have been worse. Looks like it will drop right back down again. Oh well! :( Sounds like the launch gig for the tour went well. (Not a full set so similar to the album launch thing they did! lol!)
