Ah yes CHICAGO the band. Of course! I very like them as well. The album Chicago V was my introduction to the Chicago rock-jazz scene during my studies. A fellow student had recommended the band to me, and I was immediately impressed by the fantastic horn arrangements and the dynamic, rocking sound.

I had a similar introduction as well when one of my friends recommended Chicago Transit Authority to me in highschool when I first got into Prog Rock. I always knew Chicago's big hits, but I was a bit surprised to hear Chicago being brought up as a prog band and I gave the album a shot and was instantly hooked CTA—Chicago VII are all very special albums to me :)

I was I was previously a hard rock fan and Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath were my musical gods. But I alway was open minded and liked stuff like Kraftwerk for example as well. Nothing has changed in that regard to this day. I enjoy almost every kind of music—almost. I don't like free jazz or speed metal at all, for example. And not German folk music either. *lol*
