i didnt even know it was hated on, thats how out of the loop i was. i really enjoyed it though. i always like to see artists moving forward with their music, especially in hip-hop, and it certainly was one of the more creative releases in the past few years.

yea E&A were one of the first hip hop groups i got into, but for some reason i neglected them in recent years. big mistake, their newest album is fantastic, one of the best meetings of rock and jazz.

'Cause I live in Fort Lauderdale, and we don't necessarily have a massive music scene where you can find a ton of amazing bands from any subgenre of punk, but there are definitely some cool bands if you know where to find them. Also I saw them on the Warped Tour on Saturday, and they were truly insane. They put on the single best show. So if they're ever here, check 'em out if you can.

Absolutely. They're extremely technical and have some pretty intense material. You should start with songs like "Milk Lizard", "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants" and "Black Bubblegum" which are less technical songs. Their 1st album, Calculating Infinity, is really insane; check out "43% Burnt". Off of Miss Machine, "Sunshine the Warewolf" is great. Also listen to "Farewell, Mona Lisa".
