the EPs are god-tier. full length is good sleepy time music. the feist cover is pretty good though.

The Epple Haus is awesome. It's this cool former squat where they have awesome punk shows, among other things. There was DJ night where they played old skinhead ska and reggae. It was great! I've started to make friends with some of the punks that hang out there and I got to photograph one of their bands. German punk is really really influenced by old school American hardcore more than anything else. Not too much of the more modern sounding stuff. Germany is awesome. Really easy to be veg here. Lots of good food. I've found German mac and cheese which is bad for my health but hey I'm teaching myself to cook different things. I've been traveling a lil but I'll be traveling to Hungary, Croatia and Italy this month so I'm stoked. How's SF?

fun fact: psychedelic horse shit was supposed to play at my school's mini-festival (ironically titled sunburn), but all of them tripped on acid all day in the forest and then got way shitfaced and tried to start a fight with our security. now my radio station is considering suing their asses because we paid for them to fly all the way out here. DOWNGRADE (hmmm or maybe that just makes them even that much more legit)

They are my best friends/I am there merch girl, but I am Living in Canada right now. The album is already made, but they are in the middle of getting the vinyl pressed right now. It's taking them longer than expected, but they plan to have a Release Party in Late May or June (at the latest).

DUDE totally saw limp wrist last semester and they brought the rage. the gay rage. haven't listened to their recordings but I'll get to that. I'm getting all these damn crystal bands mixed up!!! crystal castles, crystal antlers, crystal stilts, holy fucker. crystals are the new wolves I suppose. hm well I am sort of between musics right now, definitely over the whole indie rock thing (as in the anthemic/angst-ridden/string arrangement thing) and I'm looking for bands with raw energy lotsa noise and movement, and a serious lack of self-consciousness. that said, I'm diggin the whole mika miko/no age/abe vigoda shit, tryin to get into black sabbath, thinkin about delving into some mainstream pop/hiphop, like I listened to work it by missy elliot today and was so down. also still appreciating YYYs, sleater-kinney, and cat power
