Happy 10th scrobbling anniversary! ... Congrats to this, and your 194k scrobbles! ... How quick time flies with amazing tracks! ... What do you like most about lastfm currently ( and what did you like when you joined a decade ago)? ... P.S. I'll devote this piece (e.g. via spotify/youtube) to this anniversary of yours: ... the term "on" is Turkish and means: 10 :-) ... genre: experimental/minimal -> from album ('violin edition (album #1)'): ... 'On' (with 144 beats per minute) ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/on ... Some things are less available in the stores nowadays here in Germany - e.g. rice, noodles, milk, toilet papers... And at your place ?

f BitConnect does not adequately prove its legitimacy and ends up being shut down, there is no guarantee of you being able to recover any investment you had in it at the time. If you are thinking about investing with BitConnect you may want to wait at least 2 months first. By then it should either have been proved to be legitimate, or will have been dissolved. If you are a current investor in BitConnect you may want to consider withdrawing your funds until the situation is resolved one way or another.

Rapidsammy 3 months ago My first main ever was mechanic. Mechanic was a ton of fun back in the day. I switched mains after the change. :( Nexon probably released Beast Tamer to satisfy all the furries out there :^) 32 Whiyu

Greetings from Dresden, Wes! I see you still utilize lastfm after more than 10 years :-) You are one of the lastFM dinosaurs!... When you look back, from today's viewpoint, how did your musical journey mature over all these years? ... Also... all the best for your soon-to-come 152k scrobbles milestone... How I came by here? ... I was just reading our musical communication from 2011 July in my shoutbox... Wishing you a nice Sunday, wherever you may be at the moment

Them, Noenum and Blood Red Fog are the kings of that atmosphere! I saw Cosmic Church live at a Black Metal-focused festival in a small Finnish town last spring, and can without a doubt say that it was the best gig I've ever witnessed.

There are certain guitar melodies that sound like an expired yogurt, other than that I love it. Really memorable and a great addition to their discography!

Likewise, you Cosmic Church loving Canuck! I've never seen anyone not-Finnish with that many plays from them!

In fact I am just landed – went to my home country to see Atlantean Kodex this weekend, best way to begin the new year concert-wise if you ask me :) Shortly I’ll be seeing Solstice (with Primordial et al.) here in Brussels, and at the end of February I’ll be going to London for Destroyer 666, Bolzer, etc. (I hope I’m not making you too jealous…). There are some festivals here and there (mostly Up the Hammers in Greece) that I may go to – will be more of a last-minute decision though. By the way I am a big idiot, just when I had everything booked to go see Varathron in London in May, I realized it was the same weekend that Kodex are playing in Germany (with GRIFTEGARD!) close to Belgium. Oh well, some good old hellenic metal won’t hurt me I guess :). What about you, anything interesting on your side? Other recommendations of bands from over there will be more than welcome by the way! (who knows if I'll discover the next "Tales of Medussa").

Yeah, I only discovered them recently and I was shocked (and infuriated at myself) as it is EXACTLY what I look for in Heavy Metal. There's something in the air in Canada it seems! Cheers :)

I wouldn't exactly call my job well paying, but it's enough so I can pay the bills and save for festival trips etc. Might actually have to give KIT and Metal Magic a miss because Sweden Rock and it's line-up is very tempting as well. But going there would cost so much that I definitely wouldn't afford those two as well. Need to think about this. NWN is also very tempting and getting the ticket and flights now would be cheap. I know I'll regret it for the rest of my life if I miss this chance to see Conqueror stuff live.

A 3 day pass was something like 120 euros this year. Wouldn't be surprised if it would be more expensive this time. Metal Church have been confirmed for Keep It True now so I'll probably try to make it there. Now that I got a job I might actually afford the trip. If everything goes according to plan I'll do 3 festivals abroad this year. Keep It True, Metal Magic and Muskelrock. Muskelrock doesn't really have anything that good yet but if the rumors about Medieval Steel and Death SS are true I have to be there.

Will be great to see them both again. Interesting to see how D666 do without Shrapnel. Saw the last show he ever performed with them, actually. I might still go see Metal Church, depending on if there are any worthy bands on the same day with them. Not getting a 3 day ticket, that's for sure. It's unbelieveable how the prices have gone up. In 2008 you could get a 3 day ticket to that fest for 85 euros. And the line-up was actually good. Slayer, Morbid Angel, Kreator and Carcass. And some shit bands of course but those 4 were easily worth the price.

Well, that depends on the gig really. On smaller gigs it's quite intense and people are really into it, but I've also witnessed countless gigs where half of the crowd just stand there and film the gig with their iPhones. Speaking of good bands coming to Finland, Deströyer 666 and Inquisition will be returning here in May and even to the same festival! Needless to say I'll be there. Would also be tempting to see Metal Church live especially since the set list seems to be full of first three albums. Shame they're playing at Tuska Open Air which is really expensive and full of retarded people. And most bands there are shit but they always manage to get one or two good ones.

Yeah, I can't complain about the amount of good gigs we get. It's been like this for a few years now so I'm beginning to wonder how long it will last. Hopefully for at least couple of years more.

Well 40 Watt Sun is the next gig I'm 100% surely going to. Would like to go to the Metalheim festival to see Convulse and Hooded Menace but it looks like I'll have to give it a miss due to lack of money. Onslaught and Master would be a tempting combination as well, but I'll need to get a ride there as the gig isn't in Helsinki. So that one isn't certain either. Will have to see.

Yeah, it always sucks to miss good gigs. Oh well, I'm confident I'll get to see them both some other time. I'm planning to make a trip over to Berlin for the next NWN fest and wouldn't be surprised if Blasphemy would be playing there again.

That's one hell of a line-up, especially Blasphemy and Pagan Altar. Both bands played here in Finland this year, missed both due to lack of money unfortunately. Did you watch Girlschool? And if you did, were they still good live? I'm seeing them next week myself.

They are indeed really good, but all liquor is just liquor, without good company to add value to it. Hence why I am more selective of who I drink with, rather than what we drink. ;) Are you going to all three Noctis nights? The last day in particular is going to be killer, we must conserve our strength for it somehow. :P Haha, merch and beer, the most familiar trend, at least you won't be alone in that. Chinook Learning is a nice place, in my opinion. The teachers are really good, and as long as you show up for most classes, you will likely get a really good grade. Are you just taking that one class?

Hahah, awesome adventure, dude! Nothing like coming home drenched and telling the story! :) The liquor is nothing fancy, just traditional drinks from here and the neighboring lands, such as fine Greek ouzo, some strong Bulgarian rakia, various brandies, and the extremely popular single malts. Thanks for the reminder for the string of shows, they are worth the 3 week wait, I think! Anthrax with Testament.. I'm definitely there, no matter what! Skull Fist, I'll try my best to make it to. Noctis, of course, it is going to be the show of the year with all the wicked bands they've announced! I'm extremely excited to go to that! Aw, man, that kind of sucks that you have to repeat it but at least it will stick, and it is such a useful subject! Chinook Learning on Richmond Rd? I took a class or two there a few years ago.

That sounds like so much fun, man! How long did you end up staying in that shelter? :D Everything is going better than ever here; spending precious time with old friends, enjoying smooth Mediterranean liquors, and listening to the gems of our music collections. The heat here is so unsettling however, I just can't wait to come back to the chilly temperatures of Canada. I return on August 29th, which seems so far away from now... and I'm really hoping to catch some good shows soon after that, as it would be the perfect cure for the inevitable jet lag. Are you taking any classes this fall?

Indeed, right by the sea, I wouldn't be able to survive otherwise. :P The beaches here are golden, with plenty of fun activities in close vicinity. I suppose lakes and rivers are a decent compromise in Alberta, I'm not very familiar with many though. I hear people have great summer camping experiences there as well. From what I've heard, there is no reason why you shouldn't be satisfied with the material you have. I actually look forward to hearing some recordings! We need more black thrash bands in Calgary! :)
