The DJ set was pretty funny, but also the Rig (lower room at Rock City) just turned into a massive crush, though to start proceedings Dev played 'Footloose' :D I was at BOA last year but didn't get to the tent in time to get him to sign stuff, I took all the SYL sleeves and Ki to sign in Manchester though. SYL introduced me to Dev too, I remember hearing 'Relentless' on a Metal Hammer sampler disc and thinking "Jesus, I can't listen to this. It sounds like a car crash" but hey, years on here we are. I'm Tyroshai on the forum too, been there since 2007 but don't post as much as some of the others but I'm always around. Hope to catch you in London! :D x

Do you know anybody that needs a ticket for Rob Zombie Birmingham?

My ears are still so bad that I have to use earplugs to use a shredder of vacuum, I'm so sick of every day noises hurting my left ear that from next year I will just flat out refuse to go out. I'm done with gigs after March, will risk Danzig if I'm up to it but that's it. My social life is totally fucked, it's hard enough living at home with my family with hyperacusis - just want to be alone now.

I'm taking my dad, but my sister is ready to step in if my ears major fuck up from the Zombie shows.

Down in Devon, which has a good music community really. Lately the gig front's been quiet, but when I lived there it was always great, saw a lot of good bands there. Maiden's Birmingham, eye. Now to ponder festival options.

No, since I leave for home for the xmas hols a coupla days later. In the new year some stuff's in the pipeline tho! I reckcon I'll do Amon Amarth, I have a Maiden ticket, and I tend to end up seeing small bands or tribute bands once or twice a week of some sort when I'm in Birmingham. The best thing about having a cool older brother was being able to tag along to all the gigs in Wolves that I wanted to see at a really young age... My first metal gig was Pantera when i was only 12. In hindsight, I can't believe my Mom let him take me. What a terrible parent! :D

Oh, no, I'm not seeing the big four live, just going to one of those live cinema screenings of it at Cineworld. Gutted that I can't be there, but it's better than not seeing it at all. I really wanted to go to Hellfest this year, but just haven't got the funds. I can't believe Download didn't hijack more of those bands seeing as those festivals are so close together. I may have to sort out getting down to London next week to see Cypress Hill though, that could be a good one.

it was the 2006 tour i think! they do put on an awesome show, i didn't go to the green day brum show becuase my dad chucked my ticket in the green bins with a bunch of others things while cleaning up!! but the day before the GD london show my mate offered me a spare ticket for £30 but it was really good seats so i say alright and he picked me up from cov and drove to london!

I am fine thanks! i am really looking forward to seeing them :D last time i saw them was at the academy with Breed 77 supporting! Had not been to a gig since Green Day at the 02 arena!
