I think artists that don't progress usually do it for monetary reasons (they found what works/sells for them), or because they just burned themselves out. That's why artists like Madlib, Curren$y, Lil B, etc should be impressive to people, because even if you are a personal fan of their stuff they have consistently put out music that people believe is just as good if not better than their old stuff, not to mention just avoiding being burnt out in general. Lol well thats what I figured, I figured Secret Beats was just a hoge poge of material used elsewhere or unreleased on any other project. But definitely saw the improvement and felt the cohesion on Cloud. Work I'm still looking, just took a civil service test for forensic specialist training not to long ago hoping that pans out, outside of that the main focus is on my grandpa and his fight with cancer which sadly is not going well at all its at that "its only gunna get worse" point now. but theres no point in moping i feel right now, especially if the writing is on the wall, enjoy what time god sees fit to let you have rather than mourning the times he wont be here when he still is.

Thought both tapes were smooth, Definitely can hear the growth on both. I think a few songs on Secret Beats could've just as easily been on Cloud they were solid. Cloud felt "more cohesive" from track to track if that makes sense. Good to hear things are well with you though man. As for me I'm just looking for work and focusing on the loved ones (family n friends) with everything going on.
