Haha - your weather report :) & I never think about the future of my typing - it sure beats handwriting, right? I do both, sometimes to excess, seldom to much success. . . fun with words, sure, and sometimes the point of inspiration tips the scales (wish i was seriously more musical, bandwise) - how goes your music, you play bass & / or am i remembering wrong?

Glad to hear you got something in the works going, sounds like quite the vision. Yeah I've seen some good shows in the past month or so. Primitive Man this past Thursday, Secret Prostitutes/Sudor last Sunday, Årabrot/Ghold as well as Destruction Unit last month. Yeah I wanted to catch the Body/Full of Hell on tour, they played in Austin with Total Abuse and Crawl (a buddy's project, really fucking good and been getting more attention).

Yeah, me too) Still not sure what to think about them. Their concept is really intersting, the music is as much annoying as it sould be, but I think, I should come back to them later.

that guitar isn't bothering me in my room, so I'm not hurry to get rid of it. But I don't think I'll pick it up again in future, it's a guitar made for metal only (emg pickups and shit), metal music is something I'm not interested to play it myself anymore unless it's related to drone doom or something alike, besides, I'd need to get a decent amp that I cannot afford cause of its price. I wish I could play other thing, like woodwinds, I like bass clarinet a lot since I heard Dolphy playing it, and baritone sax because of its powerful sound, though they are really expensive instruments to be fooling around at home. In the end I'm just a listener, not a musician, that's ok.

I kept a guitar (I had 3), very likely I'll sell it later. I didn't enjoy solo hobby-playing, it was boring after a while. I preferred to play with other guys, with drums at least, guitar duets were cool too.

I tried to create things, unsuccessfully. I studied graphic design but never worked on something relevant, and I used to play guitar at some hardcore and metal bands but wasn't good enough either, so I sold nearly all my equipment. I'm not a sorcerer. Are you a painter?

I'm more or less aware of the situation in the US because of the international news. though they mostly talk about the current tensions with Russia due to the conflict on eastern Ukraine, the operations on the middle East, and the deals with the European Union. The inner problems of the US don't seem to be critical considering that it's a huge country. I heard they are dealing with the migration from central american people, racism, etc. As for the political system, I don't know if it's possible for the US to change, and maybe that's ok as long as american citizens are satisfied. Anyway USA will be always regarded as an imperialist country due to its interventions on other places and its influence with the globalization. I don't conceive the world as a ranking of the "best" countries, but sure the powerful ones will keep themselves ahead. As for the place I live, maybe times will be better here in some decades, with other rulers, not soon for sure. I hate to talk about politics, btw)))

no problem, I hope you like those bands. It's hard to think about price drops here because we are having an economical crisis for some years already due to controls created by the socialist government, so there's a progressive devaluation of the currency, high rates of inflation, shortage of some basic products and so on. Caracas is a chaotic place like most cities, but it's not cool at all with the radical political environment, areas full of trash, thugs, violence and the high levels of crime, rationing of water 3d per week, problems on basic services, corruption, and economical problems that I mentioned before. So I hate this place now but I'm ok here at the same time even if i'm not optimistic. It has some good things mostly related to nature, weather, geography, and a few places to go, though nothing out of the ordinary. This is just my opinion, others would describe this place like a paradise. What about your place? dude, sorry for this long text.

I think extensive libraries are not that important as long as listeners enjoy what they are listening, it's cool you are interested in exploring a lot of music too. The story about your laptop reminded me of my previous computers, they were 3 desktops and sometimes I hated 'em and made me want to throw 'em out the window, then I was lucky to buy a new laptop about a year ago because its price was reasonable and the computer has great features (I often connect it to a 32" TV screen to watch films), now it would be impossible for me to buy a new device because technology products became ridiculous expensive here where I live (Caracas). I wish you will get a better computer soon. As for recommendations, I was a hardcore punk enthusiast when I was younger, everything related to grindcore, powerviolence, curst, thrashcore, and so on. I recommend you some bands like Siege, G-ANX, Dropdead, Heresy, Ripcord, Cryptic Slaughter, Charles Bronson, Magrudergrind, Widespread Bloodshed, Iron Lung.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I store my music on external hard drives, I've been listening to a lot of music for about 15 years, and since I started to use this site I noticed there was much more music to explore, and still continue looking for new stuff or rare old gems. Though I often delete some bad albums and low quality old files from my discs too. Great library here. Infest is among my favorite hardcore bands, insanely fast )))

Second part: Uhmm, yeah, Italian is a nice language and I like because of how precise you can get - you have so many different variations and possibilities and the chanche to swap the sentence around as you like to make it flow in a direction or the other; but at the same time is pretty useless as not many people speak it outside of the country. No worries about the recommendation, just let me know if you'd like some more stuff.

I apologise for the delay. I know what you mean about just creating things out of fun, have no clue about what steps to take in order to get published or bollocks like that and frankly don't really care - for now I just do it as a personal passion and I'm aware it'll take probably years of practice and reading before getting anywhere decent. Fun side of life you said. So far I think I've only written one short story about something loosely closed to that. Usually it's some sort of dark mind-fuck situation. I tried creating my own little comic as most children I guess a long time ago, can't even remember what it was about - Hercules or some sort of lame 8ish year old crap like that. But it's been a while I'm thinking to at least buy a fews of them from the shop and read them, it's been a long time since a read a comic.

Yeah, a full release would have been fantastic, but I'm pretty contented with the three tracks as is, really dissonant riffing digests better in small doses for me personally. Gorguts are headed to Melbourne, Australia in a matter of months. So I'll be checking that out for sure, I've not seen them live before either. Portal are playing support for that show and yeah, they're immense. They're more like performance art than black or death metal. One of the only hyped acts that have surpassed my expectations instead of leaving me underwhelmed. If I had to try and describe the experience I'd say it's the aural equivalent of having an interrogator's lamp shining in your face. There's nowhere in the venue you can go where that pervasive wall of sound won't follow. The thing that made me realise they were a special band was probably when my brain stopped trying to process the sound and just kind of substituted or projected it's own melodies into the fray. It's really, truly surreal.

oh cool, I do write too, mostly uncomplete shite but I've managed to finish a few short fiction stories - I usually write in my first language (italian) and then translate it into english, struggling not to lose bits and pieces in the translation process (always happens); drawing and painting at times although I've completely lost the touch I used to have as a child - as back then I used to spend unhealthy amounts of time just doing that. What kind of stuff do you write, always interested in talking with other fellow amateur writers

Tough to say, but I think Dimension Hatross is the winner in the end. I also love the shit out of War and Pain because it's like their Kill 'Em All (but even more raw and ferocious and not-giving-a-fuck). I think DM flows just a tad bit better than Nothingface. You should definitely give post-Piggy a shot if for the lone fact of Blacky rejoining the outfit. I heard the latest album and thought it was pretty fucking decent. Then again I'm the kinda fanboy that loves Cathedral during their supposed "reacharound with disco" phase, so take what you will and hold judgement until further discussion ensues.

I've been doing, which is pretty good. Not sure what shows I even had up before but shit, saw Manowar and Repulsion in the same night so that ruled. Even cooler is that I'll be seeing another fave tomorrow, Godflesh. How the fuck have you been?? By the way, your taste still kills ass.
