Really? I was hearing the same things - mixed reviews. Some liked some didn't. VW was a decent show, but unfortunately that shitty venue dampened it for me. Crowd wasn't as crazy as a Toronto crowd usually is. VW were good though, came on a little late (1020!). What did you think?

believe me, that wouldn't normally stop me. right now is tight wallet season (being a poor uni student) and im already going to 3 other concerts this week. was going to grab scalper tickets before the show and split all the expenses, but SA is a pain to get to. its alright, i was looking forward to seeing spoon (fuckin love em) but ill just have to see them next time. hope theyre awesome! :)

haha nice. but nah i didn't go to the aftershow, i was up front the entire time so it looked like i had just jumped in the shower with all my clothes on. wasn't too becoming.. did you?

fucked up were insane and i'm suffering a swollen lip today because of it!! i really like kurt vile's recorded stuff, i was a little let down that he didn't have a full band with him because that would've been a little less monotonous but i still dug his set - i can see it seeming super repetitive to someone unfamiliar with his music though. the d'urbs were definitely my favourite of the openers though, so gooood.

yeah, i love them, and i'm not even too into joel plaskett's solo stuff. and fucked up will be great!! stacked bill.

Well, I am certain they will make it all ages. I don't think the band would list it as all ages without any backing. Ticket companies are silly, that's all.

Ahhhh I guess you did not see my next post, where I linked to the band's website: http://loscampesinos.com/2010/02/02/news-roundup-feb-2nd/ Gareth and co. are generally pretty adamant on playing all ages shows, so if he says he's been able to change it, I'd take his word for it. Dunno how quickly they'd change the info though, if they originally heard 19+ anyway. The sad thing is, I can't even go and get myself a ticket (yet) because iunno if it'll interfere with my exams and I'm not *quite* in the Toronto region atm, so...I'll need my fingers for crossing. ;D (worst pun ever, I know)
