I would love to hear their new stuff Live, they have come a long way as a band...I just got tickets to Mayhem Festival and Slipknot will be there so I am excited about that....I see you are going to Rock Am Ring that usually has some pretty good bands

I'd bet they would. ._. Word on the internetz tells that they've ever done a show in Finland for only two times. I've seen the one that's from our time though, in 2007. :3~ Too bad I had just ffallen in love with the band a week or two prior the gig, and thus didn't really know the songs... :D Except for Bard's Song by heart. :D Andre kinda sadly smiled at my friend and me when we jumped up from the left where we were listening and joined the main crowd just to sing the Bard's Song. :D

Yeah, but I find it having less layers than A Night at the Opera, or even A Twist in the Myth. Still, they can play And Then There Was Silence with only band instruments unbelievably well. Seen that on DVD, seen that live. Unbelievable. Possibly my favorite song ever. It is extremely complicated with its production, but still they've managed to do that. I don't think the new album causes them problems they can't overcome. They're masterminds in summarizing all the lead melodies there are on the album, using only the band instruments. :D

Proves that I'm an absolute Last FM nolife, doesn't it? :< Well, At the Edge of Time is a huge album! :D A masterpiece. One of the best albums Guardian has ever released, and most grandiose. The best thing is Hansi's best metal voice in the world doesn't completely hide behind the layers this time. ^^ Read my shouts on the Guardian shoutbox if you want to know a bit more about my opinion, other than it's one of the best there is! :D

yesss it was AMAZING. i was skeptical because i thought it would be liek really boring but i loved it. i went for like 13 days and i stayed in munich but took the train to other cities
