Well I'm not really a fan of metalcore. Trivium is probably the only metalcore band I like, and that's just because they are borderline thrash. BFMV's singer really is the worst part of the band to me. His clean vocals just sound way to girly. And Emperor is black metal, I'm not quite sure how that relates to metalcore.

I think it's alright, pretty fun to listen to it, but indeed this album lacks something. It's hard to say what it is, riffs don't sound as melodic as it used to and music is too quiet compared to vocals. Lyrics are acceptable, but nothing ingenious.

hey buddy you just popped up in my neighbours so id thought id have a look, just wanted to know what dont you like about SAF?

I really quite like SAF. Granted, its got less character than the Poison but I love the new direction they're taking. I mean Tuck's screaming in the title track is bloody amazing, and Hearts Burst into Fire is such a beautiful song. Not that much softer really, overall less screaming I guess but no less Heavy Metal and a much heavier Thrash influence in some songs. Yeah, I love that album. =P
