Да, это и у меня когда-то был главный вопрос - что есть в мире похожего на DM. Ответ - увы, ничего. Если говорить про синтипоп именно, то мне нравятся: Erasure (все таки Винс Кларк), Mesh (концертник прикольный), And One (слабоваты все таки), Anything Box (альбом Peace - был мною тоже куплен как сольник Мартина). Cause & Effect - альбом Another Minute продавался под обложкой DM (один фанат говорил, что это у него вообще любимый альбом DM).

Glad you liked them, here are a few South African bands you can try out... Prime Circle, The Springbok Nude Girls, The Parlotones, The Dirty Skirts. You can also give Bush, The Parlor Mob and The Black Keys a listen, I enjoy all of those too!

Some nice music you listen to, I like J R Richards and Dishwalla too, I see you are a huge MSP fan, I must give them a listen, heard of them but haven't taken much notice of their music... I see someone has suggested Porcupine Tree (very good), you can also listen to Stabbing Westward. Enjoy
