Hey! I saw that you're going to Coachella and wanted to let you know about my new blog, www.coachellafestival.tumblr.com. Every day for 99 days my blog will feature one artist playing at the upcoming Coachella festival. I've already got a few posts up, so you can check them out and decide if what I'm writing is up your alley. yeaah I go to school in Richmond and I'm from Virginia but I have family/friends from New York.

David1, the vocalist of Chromeo is getting his PHD at Colombia in French Literature & he also teaches French at Barnard College so he's around alot but they're originally from Montreal.

Yeaah Virginfest was fun. Yeasayer wasn't as good that time around, I think that was the worst performance I've seen then of theirs but maybe it was the people I was with and since it was at 4pm.

i saw them for the first time back about a month ago at the mercury lounge. there was this massive security guard blocking my view of the stage most of the show (he was trying to stop people from smoking, huge douche) but the band was so good that it didn't matter.

I completely forgot you were from New York. I left richmond, va that night & went up saturday night to help my friend look for a place to live & we actually ran into the vocalist of Chromeo in Williamsburg. It was pretty neat & we got pictures with him and stuff.

I love CSS. I saw them when they were on tour with Ssion in 2008 and it was amazing. They were still amazing this time around. They have so much energy & it translates well live. I actually didn't have time to stick around for Sleigh Bells because I had to go catch a bus to New York but they're decent. I just can't really get into their live performances. I saw them open for LCD Soundsystem and I just couldn't get into it a hundred percent. It was a little better this time from the little I saw before I left the show.
