It's different from what I normally listen to, really creative. Thanks for the recommendation! I will definitely be scrobbling Ratatat on here for the rest of the day. I don't want to overload you with recommendations, but I have one more artist that I think you might enjoy. David Fincher, my favorite film director, released a film in 2010 titled "The Social Network", which I think I can safely assume you've at least heard of. For the film, Fincher recruited Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to create the soundtrack and the result is a great electronic album. My favorite song is probably Hand Covers Bruise, I highly recommend you give that a listen. It's my go-to album when doing homework late at night. You Wanted a Hit by LCD Soundsystem is so great. I love it! I believe that's it. Maybe we should post further messages on Facebook... Goodbye!

Furthermore (since you aren't going to write an essay, I will present this in an essay-like format), I recommend you listen to the artist known as Styrofoam. He did a song with Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie, which I discovered him by and I really enjoyed his other musical works. Actually, it was Mr. Gibbard's side project, The Postal Service, which I shared with you a few weeks ago, that got me started on this electronic music obsession that has developed over the last month. I think you might Styrofoam. I dunno. Musical recommendations are hit or miss, but there's no shame (okay, maybe a little shame) in recommending an artist to a fellow music fanatic. Anywho, I hope this finds you well, my friend. Sorry for the long "shout".

First of all, I read on Wikipedia (the best source for matters involving information on my favorite musical artists) that there is going to be a single released by James Murphy, Gorillaz and Andre 3000 (who is from OutKast, apparently), which sounds like an awesome collaboration, like you mentioned. I am excited for that. I also thought it was such a coincidence that such an event would occur just as I am discovering James Murphy's music. Secondly, Talking Heads. As much as I've tried, I can't really get into them. Several of my favorite bands cite their music as an influence (Radiohead, Arcade Fire, even Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, and now LCD Soundsystem). I see where they are coming from musically, but I cannot get into them. I will try from time to time though. I think they're alright. Thank you for the recommendation, I appreciate any recommendation because I greatly respect your taste in music...

Whoaa, I looked into it not knowing what Liquid DNB is. I'm definitely going to experiment more with this. Really smooth techno, I like it. I personally tend to be very mainstream listening to the best that are out there if I can, however one thing I can recommend to you, if you're into the sensational feeling of trance and instrumental. Then look into Hans Zimmers soundtracks for the movies he's scored in. I have a few personal favorites, Inception (2010) and Gladiator (2000)

Out of curiosity, any kick ass artist you could shine light on for me. I'm looking for something new to experiment with.
