No idea, guess I'll have to ask her. I will check it out, I've only really listened to their second album. Iceland really is a hotbed for talent isn't it?

She's from Barcelona. I know what you mean, I always prefer it when the main act curates the support. Múm on the 19th? Oh now I'm convinced that you all get the better gigs down south haha. What's their new album like, have you listened to it yet?

Well as it turns out she won't be performing either of the shows due to visa issues, which is pretty unfortunate because her and Julia both in that venue would just be an incredible thing to experience. I can say that the church will be all the more atmospheric considering Holter's sound. Plus it can be rare that a visit to church is likely to be really enjoyable.

You're in for a treat at the Holter gig, Lucrecia Dalt is supporting. Rarely do I go to a gig to see a support act, only to learn the headliner is just as fantastic.

Haha! I'm sure it would be a lot more if it counted all the times I've played their CD's.. Thank you! Yours is great too, hence the reason I added you ha!

Oh wow, that sounds amazing! :D Really!? Will have to try and get tickets for that then :) I know, it's stupid really! Reading and Glastonbury is so expensive, I live quite close to V but even that is too much :/ But yeah Underage is quite sweet it's mainly little indie and dance bands, crystal castles played last year and foals have played before :)

Oh yeah Latitude is always quite chill, my friend went one year and she said it's just a massive market! Would love to see BBC tooo :D Not really, like you said bit to much money :/ but there's this one in London called Underage which is for under 18s, BBC are headlining and it's only £25for the day!

I can deal with you just being there in spirit, if you were actually there I was going to have to end this conversation due to furious jealousy. Seeing Kanye West there would have been amazing..

No Oxegen looks great, just electric picnic just looks better. Deerhunter and foals are at Latitude, would love that but the National will be at Oxegen anyways :) I haven't listened to Arctic Monkeys new album yet, any comment? Pleaseee tell me you weren't at Coachella

I think I'd actually much prefer to go to Electric picnic instead of Oxegen but it will still be great. . But you would really go over there like mainly to see BBC when you saw them just last weekend? Like a lot of the acts are already playing in Ireland this year. My dad gets a few free tickets to Castlepalooza every year so I'll try to go to that as well. And I saw Arcade Fire in the O2 at the start of the year.. Amazing. Just so so good. Vampire weekend were with them as well

Yeah the Flaming Lips put on a big live show,, more of a spectacle. Did BBC play the acoustic or electric set? Ahhhh you're going to Electric picnic as well! :(

Well I could go on forever talking about it. It was astonishing, I'm really thankful I was able to experience it, considering that this may be Roger's last tour. I could never do a lot of revising like that, I broke it up into 30-60 minute sessions making up for two hours a day. I increase the sessions as the test got closer. I'd fall asleep if I tried more than 30-60 minutes of revision haha.

Yeah, I'll be up front for the gig tomorrow. Last chance to see the man play, I want to be as close as possible. Hamlet, haven't read that one. We read Merchant of Venice, it proved difficult. Though I can't argue the mans talent and contribution to literature. I can't blame you for not doing much, it's hard to focus on old english. An' Sunday's are always lazy, aren't they?

I've my first show at the O2 in two days, Roger Waters/The Wall Live. I can't blaady wait! I also plan to be front row for that, but I don't care how bad it may be up front. I've interviewed Holy Fuck, Health, Earth and Warpaint. My favourite one's probably my interview with Theresa. There's recordings of my interviews too incase you want to listen. ~http://moodgusic.posterous.com/pages/interviews

You'll be glad to see the back of 'em, if there's one thing you don't miss. It's the tests! Mainly 'cause there's still that pressure at the end of the academic year in uni of course, different kind of pressure though. I almost always go early to shows just to be in front. But it's aching and tough, especially there are crushes, no pain no gain though. Aye I could surely, depends on his press people and my persistence, I've interviewed a few bands so far and I love it!

Yeah, and in exam conditions quantity usually comes before quality or substance. Artists can take years producing a certain piece, it's not creatively fair having a time limit. I've only sat a few times, there are certain gigs where I would prefer standing, but my legs and back very much welcome seated gigs! An interview with Justin, Bon Iver.

That's jus' a wee challenge they try to get the creatives to do. It's a shame 'cause with more time you can really work a story into perfection. But 'tis just a test. Thankfully most things in life haven't always got the same stipulations! I got myself a ticket in the circle section I don't mind, it's rare that I get to sit at a gig haha, Jus' hope I don't have anything important on that day with college. I'm sure I won't be in the slightest, eagerly waiting his next release. Might try to line myself up with an interview, make the journey down all the more worth it.

10 more people? On a Saturday morning? Don't think I could handle that O_o I'm also good! :D Currently in bed listening to the new Bon Iver album, just amazing. Have you heard it yet? Yeah I thought it was a really good gig but I HATE Tripod for gigs. Those bloody pillars meaning you can't see anything from the back and the only way to move forward is too squeeeeze down those narrow walkways on the side. And THEN your always packed in like sardines!!.... yeah I don't really like Tripod haha. Actually I saw them for the first time last year in Crawdaddy below. That was fun. Was so close to Emily I could reached out and grabbed her(I didn't) The girls were great but tbh the whole gig has been overshadowed by my experience with the allmighty Sufjan Stevens in the Olympia(my favourite venue ^_^) on Wednesday. Now theres a man who know how to put on a show. I mean he had WINGS for christ sake!!

Howdy! Cheers for the add, you've just raised my personal self worth by a healthy 2.8%(hey you're only one person..) Anywho how goes things with you? Eugh awful grammar... Oh and I saw you went to see Warpaint last week, what did you think? :)

Ah yeah that's handy isn't it, it's all in your head if the opportunity comes up in a test. Psychology, that's a great knowledge to have at the end of it all. Hope you do get in to do it! Aye, someone I follow on twitter said about it being sold out. I looked on Ticketmaster and got myself a ticket though. On one of the balcony's, this is much like Warpaint for me. I bought their record without knowing what to expect, then 3 minutes into the first song 'Stars' I bought tickets to their show in Crawdaddy.

Aye you'll have the old memories, an' new ones to make when you're at uni. Sometimes it is pointless going in when you can revise at the house. So more power to ye haha. Well put them down on paper then get a second opinion, maybe you're holding onto some really good stuff! Should let someone have a look at it, if anything they can critique it. What courses are you looking at for uni?

Ah yeah, the last days are quiet ones. At least you must have some craic with your teachers? It is a sad time, moving on. I didn't realise that it was a sad period 'til hindsight hit me. Glad to be moving on though, you've a lot to look forward to. That's the real challenge, tying everything together. I loved those parts, could have fun with them, making them very visual and descriptive. A lot of room to wiggle in!

That makes sense, I got into Tom Waits in the Winter. Funny how that is. Proves that music works in mysterious ways. It's not really difficult intellectually, just tiresome and time consuming. Ah you must be in your last year of A Levels, all the best of luck then! Make the most of the last days too, with your year. Big chapter in your life. Sometimes it's hard to force something like a short story, but when it comes out naturally it's quite a thrill.

I understand completely, I love listening to Tom Waits, but mainly on dull, dark rainy days.. I still listen to him on occasion now, but I know come November I'll probably listen to him much more. Bon Iver's sounding grand for this season though. :) It's not the work that's exciting, really it's just knowing I've got some new music to get to know. It always makes working easier. I've to finish up an assignment for Broadcast Journalism. Next week's the week for big auld portfolio's though, so this'll be small in comparison. What is it you're studying for?

Aha if only! Well feel I should say thanks again, 'cause I'm actually looking forward to burning the midnight oil, with this soft music. I can't say it's easy to get excited about work, but I am.
