Dude nice! Way too many people only stick to ICLIH, which is great but checking their other stuff is real rewarding. You should check out Bedhead if you get a chance, another good slowcore band sorta in between Duster and Codeine. Oh also III is becoming one of my favourite folk albums of late.

i've been really slow on catching up on tunes lately, getting ready to head out of canada and travel asia for a few months. i listened to the wolf eyes album so far and really dug it.

Burned Mind, Human Animal and Stabbed in the Face are some of my favorites by them as well. Ever listen to Panicsville? I just picked up a Wolf Eyes "Stabbed in the Face" and Panicsville split LP. Really dope stuff.

strange flow indeed. really dug the flow all the way up to Dead Man's Tetris. the slower tempo and slow flow than kendrick in the song before broke it off quite well. the flow after was kinda hard to find but still alright.

the concept of death wasn't there in my opinion either. and yea there were definitely some songs that seemed very one dimensional and only had one idea. i do like hearing all the jazz influence in FlyLo's work being expressed in actual jazz too.

a little bit to my surprise, i reeeeally dug it. really enjoyed what he's been doing with his work. i love all the jazz elements in it and the production was near flawless. for some reason i didnt think id be too big on it since im so deeply in love with his older stuff, but this did not disappoint at all. "Until the Quiet Comes" took a little while to grow on me so i figured this would too but nope. keep in mind ive only had one listen to it though. What'd you think of it?

I'll definitely give it another listen. sounds wonderful. and yea they definitely are. and yea they're discog is definitely one of the best. Swans and Thee Oh Sees have two of the most consistently good discogs in my opinion.

hm.. i'd say Children Of God or The Seer. Soundtracks is up there too but i haven't heard it as much as i have the two i listed. and interesting pick. i never really hear much talk about White Light. i should give it another listen. and i just saw that they added a second show at Lincoln Hall for Swans. which is 21+ again....

yea i agree. it was definitely much more consistent than the seer which i thought was good and bad. I liked the darkness and really enjoyed the aggressiveness of it, but i agree that the contrasting styles of The Seer made it a better album. Still a very good album but The Seer does top it in my opinion.

thought it was exactly that! Dank. but yea i really enjoyed it. there may be one song i was meh on which i think was Some Things We Do. cant remember the track name, but the rest was very solid. definitely a good follow up to The Seer.
