Yep, I made it to Alcest/Enslaved. Totally sick show. Loooooved Alcest. They were sooo good.

yeah, i like the new SW a lot. maybe better than the last one. definitely going to the show, have our tickets but unfortunately don't know of anyone with an extra.

got there too late for Frozen, but Junius was excellent (not sure how i didn't know about them before considering they're local), Alcest was good to see but i kinda feel like it wasn't any different from just listening to it on cd. and i've for whatever reason never really been that into Enslaved but they were really good and i'll probably make more of an effort to get into them now.

the show was pretty amazing. especially considering it was just Danny and Vincent from Anathema doing stuff acoustic and i don't even like the new Blackfield album...but somehow they're always great live despite the material. Steven Wilson has magic powers.

It was very good regardless. Shpongletron made up for the lack of the full band.

I love Live shows and I try to go to as many as I can. I am going to try to get tickets to see Seether...Stone Sour and Alter Bridge. They go on sale the beginning of Feb. It says on your about me your from Massachusetts...I am from NY but currently live in Texas. You must be getting alot of snow now....

I never got to see them live! One of my biggest regrets, since they are one of my all time favorite bands :-\

We share alot of the same music. I have seen Dark Tranquility..As I lay Dying..Killswitch Engage...Bullet For My Valentine and many more bands Live. I love Live shows and so as much as I can. Dark Tranquility was amazing Live. what are your favorite songs by them amd have you seen any bands Live?

The Di'Anno show was amazing!!! I went in with low expectations but he would have even exceeded my highest expectations....He nailed the Maiden songs, his other stuff sounded great and he gave us a few other great covers such as "The Faith Healer" and he encored with a tribute to Bon Scott by playing "HIghway to Hell".....Icarus Witch were amazing and pulled double duty playing their set as well as Di'Anno's they really impressed me, so much so I am looking forward to their new album....All in all best $15 I ever spent.....

Hey, thanks for the info about Irepress European tour, looks like Poland is closest, still about 1000 km, unfortunately not any gigs in Baltics/Finland/Sweden or UK where I like to go often... Hopefully they'll come to some European festivals too in the future :)

No, I haven't listened to UNKLE's last album, I got a sample song from it, didn't quite like it, the previews weren't much different so i didn't do more on my part... but they cannot possibly top War Stories, it's amazing album in every way. even the instrumentals are exceptional! so yeah, you should check it out. Hey, how was the Infected Mushroom gig?

They were absolutely amazing, definitely one of the better bands on the bill.

I am pumped for Sabaton, Orphaned Land and Diablo Swing Orchestra. The best thing about the festival, though, is that it feels like everyone in the world likes metal, even if it's just for that weekend. There are just metalheads everywhere you go. It's awesome.

Very excited for the show though and the other shows I'm going to, especially Nearfest!
