So, this Rhapsody EP is actually quite good. The vocals are more aggressive and the music is more metal and less epic.

I think I finally found a black metal band for you they are called Ne Obliviscaris, they are very progressive and arent really that black metal so much as a crazy ass mixture of prog metal, death metal, and black metal

im not rebelling against my parents did it occur to you that maybe I just like black metal? Plus my parents are cool with it, they kind of just left it up to me to decide if i'd listen to black metal or not. I do listen to some romantic era classical music but not really since I got last fm, I've moved more into modern day piano composers like dave eggar and ludovico Einaudi and ambient/post rock

I guess a piano major wouldnt know anything about classical music either :)
