Don't they still delete random shouts like they used to? Oh, fun times! And he's a cunt if he was just harassing people's shoutboxes. Unless those people were cunts themselves. Then he's a hero! Or a douchebag. Can't really tell...

Oh, if I recall correctly who he is, then he got banned way too many times for what's considered to be normal for the average human being. May God let his soul rest in peace, the poor lad.

Who's Patrick White? o_O I still think that the singer, though in a similar tone to Jamie's, sounds quite unpleasant to the ear.

THEKILLINGSPREE
Yes, I can hear some similarities (though the guy singing sounds rather annoying). The funny thing is someone had already shared a Drawings album with me ages ago (was it you? can't remember), though I never got to listen to it (I still have it around here somewhere, I think).

Oh, I've been out of the Reuben loop for quite some time. Besides, I've never been a hardcore fan of the band (though I did like 'em a lot back in the days). You're probably better off harassing this buddy o' mine about it, since he's quite the Reuben fangirl. And since we're at it, merry Christmas, man!

You're right about Toby being great live. I saw him yesterday with Dad Rocks! in someone's flat above a pub. He played one new song and it was incredible. Shame he was only on for 30 mins.

Yeah, I've heard the new songs sound much better live. I think I just can't get on with the synth on the new album. It sounds forced and I don't find it adds anything new to the tracks as it seems to be pretty droning the majority of the time. How did the new SASO songs sound? I found his last album to be his best to date, so I'm hoping for something of a similar standard. I've been to quite a few gigs on my own since I've come to Uni, mainly for the same reason you went to see Tubelord. I just reckon a couple of people on my floor might enjoy Dad Rocks! and SASO as I know quite a few people who love folk-y stuff. I'll probably end up getting a taxi to the venue as seems to be on the outskirts of Liverpool. You going to any festivals next summer? You should really consider going to 2000 Trees.

Sounds sweet mate. Did he play any new tracks by any chance? I could be seeing him with Dad Rocks! in a couple of weeks depending on dosh and if I can get a couple of people on my floor at Uni to come as I have no idea where the venue is as it isn't in the city centre. I still haven't seen Tubelord myself, but after hearing the new album, I don't know if I really want to. I really can't get into it. What do you think of Romance?

Ah, tea <3 I hope it's black. If it was Cosmo who introduced them to you, then I might as well stay the hell away from them :D

I have no idea what you're talking about and this ignorant feeling is leaving me rather uncomfortable. That being said, I think I'll take some of that fine grub you've been trying to swallow for the last year, thank you!

I don't know where you can hear Pearl Jam, but to be honest I'm not familiar with their stuff bar Alive. Cap'n Jazz are awesome, just listen to the whole of their anthology and you'll love it as it isn't that different to the track you're loving. Plus, they have a horrible (in a good way) cover of Take On Me on it.

I recommend it mate. The only downside is that that Algernon only played for 35 minutes. 1994! are the main support on every date so you'll be able to see what I mean about the drummer.
操作

Cosmonaut_
Yeah man, such a good show. The main support 1994!, blew me away. The drummer is machine. There isn't much AC on spotify but the band encourage people to just download their stuff from mediafire.

I saw Crash of Rhinos tonight and they were bloody good. Go see them if they're near you at any point.

Ah I think some of it is their catchiest yet (Return To Danger Castle, Match Of The Day) but I still think Where Did You Get Lost To? is their best. Sweet Drunk Everyone is practically an LP too, a bloody good one at that. The whole story is the product of "the author" in the final song, yes? That's how I saw it at least, I thought that was a nice twist at the end. When I die I want to turn into a whale too... Have you heard any of it live?

Haha just been chatting with some other people about stuff I need to listen to, the list is getting huuuuuuge. I'll get on it eventually though... I have that split too, Tru Punx is awesome! I need to spend more money before I get my vinyl setup properly sorted out. Ironically, I spent all my money on vinyls >_< Talons, You Thought You Saw... + quite a few others. All worthy purchases but I should have probably sorted out the amp first... Hoping Cats x3 will indeed be sick!

ahah yeah. There are more these bands from America than Britain though, so it is much easier to find them. Plus, the bands I mentioned are all side projects coming from Cap'n Jazz so there is a hell of a lot of music to listen to and then of course the hundreds of bands who worship them. I'll warn you now that Cap'n Jazz are an aquired taste, they're really raw, sloppy and the vocalist can not sing, but that's the charm. I hope you're enjoying American Football though, they're worth spending some time on.

Fair play. I was going to sign up to that but I didn't have the money earlier in the year and I can't be bothered now. One band who I know were on it though, Rosa Valle. I'm looking forward to their EP which is actually coming out on BSM and Holy Roar.

Hit me with some names, and I'll eventually get round to listening to them. I don't hear any Melodic hardcore in their music, just emo. The good kind, the kind where people love the Kinsella Brothers which I see you have none in your charts, which is suprising since you listen to a lot of bands that love the following bands.. American Football, Cap'n Jazz, Owen, Owls, Joan Of Ac. You need to get on these bands, especially American Football. One of the most perfect albums ever.

I finally gave Crash of Rhinos a listen. I'm so impressed on first listen. Gang vocals galore.

Listening to Reef, huh? Respect! I'm no Reef expert, but I freakin' love "Rides", I even bought that album ages ago! So... You could always start with that one ;)

Old Pride is so good, the lyrics are incredible. I just lost my entire music collection to viruses, so I'll definitely get checking this stuff out but it also means I don't have anything to share anymore I'm afraid >_< Give this a listen anyway and once I have it myself I'll hook you up with a proper link if you'd like xD Listened to that album 60 times but its only 20 minutes long.

Not heard of Crocus but listened to and struggled with Maths in the past! I've been listening to lots of American hardcore, stuff like Touché Amoré, La Dispute, Defeater, Pianos Become The Teeth... they're the main four at least. Did you ever listen to Scatterbrain by The Xcerts last year? Pretty straight up incredible stuff.

No problem. Are Crash of Rhinos worth a gander? I'm seeing them support Algernon Cadwallader next month so I wonder if it will be worth giving them a listen.

Sweet, I'll get checking them out. I know Tupolev, Shield Your Eyes and Wot Gorilla are good already but never got round to properly listening to them. I've been on a bit of a 'hardcore' binge this year, ...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse by Touché Amoré is one of my favourite albums of all time now and Somewhere At The Bottom Of The River Between Vega And Altair by la Dispute is pretty awesome too. Enjoying new Dananananaykroyd as well for something a bit more 'BSM'!

Certain Songs is great, last time I saw them they opened with Johnny Foreigner Vs. You... Unexpected and fucking amazing. Slightly envious of you seeing them seeing them somewhere that small but I'm gonna be seeing them twice next month so not too jealous ;P That uni stuff sounds pretty cool, I've always been a bit of a computer games geek (this is the internet, who isn't?). I've got a place at Birmingham for maths next year, its essentially an excercise in increasing my JoFo/&U&I stalking capabilities by moving to their hometown but that sounds pretty much fucking perfect to me. Good luck passing the year though man! xD I'm totally in love with Boris at the moment, took me ages to get into them but they're pretty incredible and have FIFTEEN YEARS worth of material to listen to! And feel free to share whatever you want, I got quite a bit of shit you can have too!
