SANBIKA is in my top 3 favourite bands of all time :) The other two being MALICE MIZER and VELVET EDEN! They're so amazing! I own about 80 of their items physically too, and listen to my own rips. Sadly, only a super small amount of their stuff is available on download sites. So it's easier to explain the amount of scrobbles considering the amount of stuff I have of them.

Do you know of anything that is even remotely similar to Malice Mizer's, "Bara No Seidou"? IE, less rock, less metal, and more of that Castlevania gothic chamber sound? "Merveilles" gets close but is still too heavy. The closest thing to "Bara No Seidou" that i could personally find is Scissors Garden album, "Grand Guignol".

Hi there! Sorry for the late reply. It's really hard to say.... Bara no Seidou is so unique! Of course, you could listen to the classical music that inspired the arrangements, instrument choices and general sounds; Mostly baroque, classical and romantic masses and passions, such as the St John and St Matthew passion by Bach, and Bach's organ solo works (there's over a hundred!). But Bara no Seidou is actually closer to rock and darkwave music from a compositional standpoint... But usually, these genres have guitars and synthesizers as their main arrangement choices. It's hard to find music that combines these two the exact same way Bara no Seidou did. To stay in the realm of visual-kei, the album "未完の五線譜と暗闇の迷宮" by AMADEUS gets really close. Also, Sopor Aeternus is a German darkwave artist that uses a lot of classical instruments too, but I don't know her discography well.. ALI PROJECT has a huge discography, and some songs are quite goth too. VGM too, like Castlevania as you mentioned.

I tried Sopor Aeternus a long time ago, but it was a little strange for my tastes haha. Another was, "les Tenebres du Dehors" by Elend, it had classic orchestra type stuff going on, but with very painful sounding vocals. Profanum's album, "Eminence of Satanic Imperial Art" was kinda close too. I'll check out, "Unfinished Song and Labyrinth of Darkness" by Amadeus

Hello! I own both CD's with LAREINE songs of her, and a bonus DVD with a message from MAYU and her... but I have yet to rip and listen to it! If you say it's as good as the old stuff, I'm quite hyped to listen to it! The instrumental sounds good, I wonder what the melody on it will be! Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you! ❤ And I agree with you, each album is special. I also love Dixandu and Dix Infernal. I like that Mana-Sama switches up the band members from time to time, each member gives the band a different sound (I kinda miss Juka though... Seth is great and all, but Juka was just so... Amazing). Anyway, when is your birthday, Canty? I'd like to wish you a happy birthday when it comes! Or has it gone by already?

I guess you could teach me a thing or two in the future, I may not look like it (not that you know what I look like [as far as I know]), but I'm an intermediate French student. Anyway, you have very wonderful English. You're so fluent that I had no idea you weren't from North America.

Awww!! Thank you! Yes, I speak French with my dad, and Dutch with my mom, two official languages of Belgium. But it's very funny, but my English is better then my French AND Dutch, even though it's not my mother language. I learned it from countless hours on the internet since I was just a very small kid.

Oh wow, that's interesting indeed! I had to sacrifice my mother tongue (Russian) at a very young age to become completely fluent in English. Albeit, my mother never spoke it with me when we moved to Canada, and no one else did either, so there's a reason why I simply don't remember a word of it. I certainly do agree that the internet is a very useful tool when it comes to learning. I don't know if it's a shame or a blessing that it came into my life later than most other kids who were my age.

This is {not} an Important question, Canty (dumb nicknames are my thing), but is it actually ラレーヌ instead of ラレン? Is that their official katakana writing used on merchandise or something? Or did you interpret it like that, or use Google Translate? It's just weird because LAREINE en fraçais is just pronounced "La-rehn" and "Raren" is closer to a proper pronunciation than "Rarenu", and I know from experience that the Japanese don't try to add extra vowels when unnecessary (日本語を勉強します:3 ). But IDK, Kamijo's French was pretty bad back in the ol' days (still is, actually), so I would not be the least bit surprised if he picked ラレーヌ instead of ラレン because of reasons... I can't explain it, but that NU just bothers me...RA-RE-NU Sounds less like La Reine than RA-RE-N.

Cantavanda, long time, no metaphorical see. I'm glad you have all the awesome HQ PV uploads on Youtube, I appreciate it and I know lots of others do. Anyway, do you have the 薔薇の婚礼 DVD? Or at least a file that plays over 360p? All that's on the internet is a crappy rip in 144p that has about as many pixels as there are dollars in my bank account, and at times it can be really hard to see the detail the movie has (unlike in the Mayonaka PV you uploaded). I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if you didn't, though. I can't find a copy or better quality rip myself! Anyway, I hope you have good, day!
