What a library buddy!

My list of concerts I've attended would be pretty long but then I'd be going back about 40 years. I just saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (outstanding). I'm going to see Umphrey's McGee on Saturday and Steven Wilson the following Tuesday, so I'm on a roll. My taste is very eclectic. About the only genres I really don't like at all are opera and rap/hip-hop. I listen to a lot of prog, mainly from the 70's but there are some newer bands that I like a great deal- Porcupine Tree, Spock's Beard and Big Big Train to name a few. Classic rock is high on my list. I'm a sucker for anything with a good hook, even old Burt Bacharach and the Raspberries. And of course the Beatles. I also listen to new wave, jazz, post-punk, jam, pop, you name it, so I'm pretty wide-open to most everything. The High Llamas have been keeping me company on my commutes as of late. Oh, and Zappa, XTC and Todd Rundgren are longtime staples. Stay warm!

Grönemeyer does an intimate club tour in November here in Germany. He plans to play only songs that havent been played for a long time / VERY rarely / are hardcore fans' favourites. He even put on a list on his website where you could choose 25 songs from a list of 50 songs :). There are still tickets for some concerts. Why not flying over if you have the chance? Neu Isenburg for example is about 20 km away from Fankfurt Airport. There are also airports in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. I know what you meant about being born too late. I used to have a huge cruch on the late 60s and 70s era, especially Motown stuff and Jazz vocalists from that time.
