Yeah I agree. I love listening to albums in unbroken wholes and listening too the same album a lot and picking up on things I missed (I get obsessed with certain albums and artists, songs lol) For now I’m glad that the artists I listen to a lot, haven’t abandoned or set aside the format, so it hasn’t really affected me. I still believe that albums can become more popular maybe due to the resurgence of vinyl and cds and stuff.

Blanca (spelled with a c) always makes me think of the white wolf from Shadow Hearts Covenant. One of my all time favorite games. I saw a shout below about Blanka from Street Fighter, just thought I'd mention another game character that you might find cooler. Also we have Very High taste. 👍🏻

i’m liking it! i already have it on vinyl. i also saw it in the theatres for the premiere so i had a great experience along with it in a cinema full of metalheads, and i think james’ vocals sound great! BUT from a technical aspect, i think the songs were too similar and too long. and i know it doesn’t matter that much but i’m not a huge fan of the album cover. NONETHELESS i’m happy they’re active and still making music! what about you?

tbh i think it's a lot better than i thought. yes, the tracks are too similar and kinda too long, the riffs and certain parts just repeat itself in almost each song (except for inamorata only, perhaps), but yeah, james' vocals are beyond impressive, considering band's milage and each member's age... at this point, imo, anything they release should be GREATLY appreciated and praised! i think it's one of the rare bands whose sound has evolved and transformed so much throughout decades and no forthcoming "bad" album can hinder their well established legacy. all in all, i'm enjoying it very much, been listening it on repeat for the past few days and so far i'd have to point out Crown, Room of Mirrors and Inamorata as personal favorites ☺
