I like blackened death like Teitanblood. Lately I'm very into finnish black metal like Korgonthurus and Horna. Like you, I only listen to extreme metal. In the past I used to listen to neocrust and post metal. Neofolk is something I like too because usually it's conceptual music about folklore roots, Nordic and Celtic and I connect with that a lot (I live in the north, a coastal place with Celtic roots) and usually the people who make this music are interested in History.

I can understand that. I like everything black, death, thrash, heavy/speed, folk/pagan. I'm also passionate about history and folklore. And thanks to music I've been able to discover different cultures. I also like daekwave. I like the attnettion you give to your passion.

This weekend I only want to listen to Draconian and Opeth (both bands are excellent in their genre). I recommend you try these two bands and let me know what you think. Or more extreme, there's Belphegor, Necrophobic and also Djevel (this last band I've been listening to a lot lately).

In the last album of Drowning the light I founnd a lot of atmospheric elements than before. With an almost perfect production. A guitar with dark and heavy melodies. I liked this album. and with a high and powerful classical Black Metal voice

The first two Necrophobic's albums still the best in my opinion. And there's also Death to All (released in 2009 I think) Necrophobic's music has evolved a lot since The Nocturnal Silence. at the beginning it was more Blackened Death. nowadays I think the band is closer to Melodic Black Metal. If you ever go listen to Death to All tell me what you think

Penetralia and Osculum Obscenum are absolut Masterpieces of Swedish Death Metal ! Yeah I listened to Torr, very old school : I appreciat their music. Today was a journey with norwgian old school Black Metal, I lstened to Mayhem (De Mysteriis Satahanas) Darkthrone (A Blaze in the Northern Sky) Immortal (Battle in the North) Satyricon (Nemesis Divina) ! AndI will start Lucifer for the first time !

hahahaha even the Swedish band Hypocrisy in their latest album Worship they have waged a war against the pharmaceutical industry. I don't know if you like melodic, Hypocrisy is worth it. But preferably listen to the first albums with Caligula (ex-Dark Funeral) on vocals. So you liked Cattle Decapitation!

Sodom and Kreator both have their own style. Sodom are considered as one of the first wave Black Metal bands next to Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer... Kreator is a pure Thrash Metal band, they are violent in their lyrics. But also, the band had a slow period when they started to introduce gothic elements to their music, but soon they changed to become heavier (you can listen to the album Enemy of God and tell me what you think)

Actuelly I am listining to their last album 40 Years at War - The Greatest Hell of Sodom (album of re-recorded songs). If you want you can listen to Kreator, (Endless pain, Pleasure to kill) two masterpieces. Sodom, Kreator, Destruction and Tankard are the German Big-4 of Thrash Metal ! (Sodom, Kreator and Destruction influenced the Extreme Metal scene)
