SO NOW IT HAPPENED, I also got the ugly, confusing layout too. Last.FM already tried to install this style (song title on the left, artist on the right) years ago and failed (/ lost a huge bunch of users). Aren't they interested in the opinions of their users and subscribers? I can't believe that more than 10 % of "us" all appreciate the layout design. I, personally, am a member since 2002 (since 2007 with another name), we've walked through a lot of changes, lost a few very good features, but THIS is REALLY bugging me out to the max. Express your opinion: create a user account in their community support on www.getsatisfaction.com/lastfm . We can't let this happen! We love our customary Last.FM that we're used to for ages. Without us this page is nothing, and we have to tell the admins that we love the style that's been here for years. WE are Last.FM !!!

I gave Lifelover's first album a listen. Weird but I did somewhat enjoy it. Half the time it didn't really sound like black metal, and for that case more avant-garde. I will give some of their other stuff a listen.

Hey, do you like "The Satanist" by Behemoth? I've been trying to get into more extreme metal, but it's been difficult tbh lol. For whatever reason I was able to get into The Satanist right away, probably because I recognized a lot of black metal elements in it, which I'm more used to.

"New" Radiohead single is out on youtube! I actually really enjoyed it, Thom's voice carries it. Have you heard it?

Favorite Depeche Mode album? My list goes Music for the Masses = Violator > Black Celebration > Playing the Angel > Some Great Reward > Songs of Faith and Devotion, haven't heard the others.

How do you feel about The Cure's "Pornography" album? It's probably my favorite of theirs; so intensely dark and foreboding.

I got Sepulchral Curse's EP's. Evil sounding and excellent death metal. I'm surprised I was the 2nd person to leave a shout in their shoutbox. They also don't have a 1,000 scrobbles yet and only less than 120 listeners. They deserve more scrobbles & listeners.

I recommend it highly, the feeling of isolation and loneliness is insane on this album. But I have to admit, it took me much time to enjoy it that much - of course, first two songs caught me after first listen (and still does) but to appreciate others I should grow up a bit. :D I will give these albums a try, thanks a lot! Let's wait few days and it will be visible even in my library. (lately I'm giving attention to bands in some 'queue', even if it sounds weird it perfectly helps me with too many recommendations!) And as for The Birthday Massacre it will be quite easy - "Walking With Strangers" is probably their best without any doubts (almost 1k scrobbles in my library!), eventually I'd recommend "Violet", my second fav.. but for Project Pitchfork it's different because their 'eras' are very diversified and almost every album sounds.. different, exactly. I started with "Black" but now their new era is a bit disappointing to me, so I'd suggest maybe Daimonion+Eon albums.

Weird question: how much attention do you pay lyrics? For me it kind of depends on the genre or whatever, but generally the lyrics are the last thing I notice about an album.
