Oh, that. I will admit that that was a pretty arbitrary comment from me. But I read in an interview that he used to paint a lot but decided to stop just to deprive the world of his beautiful art - "out of spite". That's just a dick thing to say and I'm sure those pictures weren't that fucking great. Also, that STUPID immature dis fight he had with Roger Ebert after Ebert called The Brown Bunny one of the worst movies ever. That was extremely childish on Gallo's part. He just seems like an arrogant little shit, that's all. But I haven't met the guy, obviously. I think his work is very interesting, and The Brown Bunny is one of my favorite films. I guess I'm hypocritical or something that way. Thanks for asking.
