I really wanna re-do the wiki so it has an actually accurate description. post rap is distinct from experimental rap, while still being a sub genre of it. common components of the post rap sound so far are a combination of electronic, shoegaze, and industrial sounds, with heavy distortion and abrasive soundscapes being commonplace. the current description doesn't capture what post rap is at all.

real genre but the description here is awful and most of the stuff tagged as post rap is not correct at all

I wish this was a genre taken more seriously because it's one of many niche genres I've been studying. And there as been a bit of resurgence with things like the 'By The Time I Get To Phoenix' by Injury Reserve album which is unmistakably Post-rap. I'd also say that Quadeca's latest album is Post-rap with the Lo-fi Shoegaze Soundscape. Then there is Slauson Malone, Standing On The Corner, Moor Mother, Clipping., Etc. I'm working on a playlist of essential Post-rap if anyone is interested in checking it out let me know
