This is shit, not a genre. I don't know why the shiteaters from the "Typical Music Nerd" (Russian: Типичный Музыкальный Задрот) public page on VK loved this genre so much. Apparently, when you can't handle genuinely complex music like prog, jazz, or classical, but still want to seem like an elite, it's easiest to choose noise. After all, you don't need a lot of brains to understand noise since there's nothing to discuss, as there's no melody. You can't really criticize this "genre" because it initially breaks all the rules of the musical game.

Non-noise music is based on notation and structure. Noise is music that forgoes theory and instead focuses purely on sound. It also doesn't have to be unpleasant sounding, for example field recordings of trees swaying in the wind or someone farting are also noise.
