excellent music i suppose it begins with pop punk/emo in the early 2000s, electroclash, crystal castles, and nightcore from the late/early 00s, then later on witchhouse (e.g. salem), seapunk, and vaporwave, sadboys from the early internet scenes such as on Tumblr occurring in the early 2010s, then more edgy pop artists like charli xcx and grimes around the same, followed by the popularity of pc music from 2015s onward.. emo hip hop sometime after that, i suppose, and artists like dorian electra, finally we get 100 gecs, and now more soundcloud artists like oaf1, hinoni, glaive, etc
