As if emo and happy were contradictory terms. *rolls eyes* The Promise Ring, Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids all wrote happy songs and are emo. Same goes for The Maine, Say Anything, Fall Out Boy, Hellogoodbye, Panic at the Disco etc.
