For me, the unusual sound production is actually this album's ace in the hole and helps give it character that the artificial sounding production on "Effigy" tragically robbed those songs' power from.

I'm looking for unofficial custom remaster(s) of this album. Re-recordings can't make a complete album because of different sound of every song. I'd love to enjoy this album as a whole. I wish they'd do a proper remix and remaster but we are still waiting ... for more than two decades.

It's a good album, but suffers from bad production. Tracks 1-5 have been re-recorded. Now they need to re-record tracks 6-8.

Wish they'd just re-record it with a similar tone but better production instead of giving us a re-recorded song with every new album. Not gonna deny that it is a cool way to do it though. It's like finding a happy meal toy at the end of every new Suffocation album.

The really fucked up production accidentally made this the second best Suffocation release for me after the legendary Human Waste EP. Everything else is rather worthless, IMO.

Easily Suffocations best album. They step up the technicality after Effigy without going "wankfest" yet still keeping quite a few brutal as fuck breakdowns. Pierced can't touch this albums overall amount of good songs. Not a single bad song here at all. One of death metals finest albums ever. Got a problem with the production? Download a free program such as Audacity or Fruity Loops for free, and re-master it if you want.

The production is fine. There will be always some people who will whine about the production. Some says that Pinnacle... sound very "modern" other here, whine how bad production is on this album... Never mind this is for me part of Suffo's best albums. And we all know that they have no weak album.
