"This album has some songs that don't live up to their potential, like Hybrid Cult or Reborn... " I was with you until you said "like Hybrid Cult or Reborn." Those are two of SS's best songs, IMO. The more underwhelming songs are 2012, Obscure Alliance, and Detach from the Outcome for me.

This album has some songs that don't live up to their potential, like Hybrid Cult or Reborn... but it also has some of the best songs Scar Symmetry ever wrote like Veil of Illusions, Dominion or Underneath the Surface. IMO, the album with best overall song level is PBP. There tends to be some worse songs on DMD and HU
