This release, as well as Souls/Island, were the most difficult things to listen for me from old PP at the beginning. But it needed much time (really, very much) to be appreciated and as the time passed.. now I like them as much as other Pitchfork works, surely there is some heart-piercing songs here.

Mein Einstiegsalbum vom Project, wunderschönes durchgängiges Werk - zuerst gehört in Ecki Stiegs 'Grenzwellen', dann dauerlief es im Walkman (!). Tinas Kommentar damals auf dem Sportplatz, als sie - verletzt und deswegen nicht am Unterricht teilnehmend - zum Zeitvertreib die Kopfhörer aufsetzte: Du hörst Pitchies?! Ach ja, die Neunziger ...
