You mixed the UK singer with the Australian jazz multi-instrumentalist and composer. You have to separate the two artists.

It's quite long to explain, but shortly saying: because there's no script taking the information from what you hear (id3 tags in music files/Spotify/etc.) and comparing them to the valid database, diving the artists into its own page. And the difficulty is in exactly the same thing: it's really difficult to divide correctly music, as scrobbler should guess which band you are scrobbling (and you should not choose it manually, because it will be really uncomfortable). So, my favourite example of difficulty: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Oblivion/88511 + https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Oblivion/92280 - you got two bands with the same name, the same country, the same genre, even the same release! (self-titled one) It's nothing saying it's this band or that one. Imagine then that in both "Oblivion" albums there is the song with the same name.. where should it that go then? It's really hard to choose not-manually, especially because id3 tags are usually limited to few tags. Huh.
