easily the best one of the Mangini era until now, surprisingly really, really good. First half is amazing

The cover reminds me of this comic: https://www.buttersafe.com/2010/08/26/what-it-means-to-be-alive/. That's the nicest thing I have to say about this album.

Great album, it's fantastic! Probably their most "metal" release in a long time, it's pretty unrelenting.

Holy fuck this album is amazing. It takes a lot of things bands have tried and made them work so well. The first half seems to have the similar structures to them but they're different enough that they don't sound repetitive. I could tell that they put their all into this album, and it's a breath of fresh air to know that Dream Theater is still capable of putting incredible music. This album is a 9/10 for me.

Hot damn this album is awesome. It's been a VERY long time since they've released an album this consistent. All of the past several DT albums have songs I love but also songs I usually end up skipping, but that isn't the case with this album. Even then some songs are better than others, but ranges from good to incredible rather than boring to good. I honestly thought Dream Theater didn't have it in them anymore to release an album this awesome.

Best album of the Mangini era. Fall Into the Light, At Wit's End, and Pale Blue Dot are mammoth tracks.

10/10 Awesome album. They are better to write an album like this structure in the future. Not a concept opera album like The Astonishing.

Yes. Don't know where from initially, but it's made it's way to Soulseek if you have it.
