Idk about their creative process but it seems that Daniel Gant was assembling final tracks from the bits composed by the rest of the band, mostly by Scott. That's why the latest album is different - someone else assembled it. I may be wrong though.

I'm thankful I finally checked out a 3rd album of them, To Be Fed Upon awesome, Applied Structure In A Void great too. Now (-)Existence(+), what a great experience that album is. Only one song of 11 where I'm unsure, "Nine" has a much too repetitive chorus for only around 4:30 minutes duration. But the others are very well written with small little details everywhere. Even without "Nine" the album would still finish after 1 hour (without the remixes). Song structures usually very well thought out with much effort put in the songs.

Scraping the Flesh EP is my favorite release from them. You can find the tracks on the compilation album "Lost Sektor" on streaming services. Highly recommended.

New album is quite different and I don't really know what to think about it after two listens.. I guess it's a grower or something like that. Or that I should wait until I have better time for such sounds. But "Stabbing Death Fire Stitches Splitting" is absolutely powerful, this one thing I know for sure.

"Deathkill" from "To Be Fed Upon", holy sheet, this is instant and endless love, just a brilliant masterpiece, each second of it. One more band joined my "best of the best" list.

Yup, Die Sektor are genius with creating such an atmosphere. They even don't need to be danceish, fast and catchy, 'cause their stuff is solid in having incredibly balanced emotions, ebm background and progressive elements. Both "To Be Fed Upon" and "(-)Existence(+)" are my favourites in this genre.

I was skeptical when you guys started progressing on the Applied Structure album, wasn't so keen on Final Electro Solution...but Existence is a nice balance of dark electro and industrial rock.

I'm very satisfied with the album, especially with refreshing the trance roots. It doesn't move me deeply yet, but I expect this soon. They seem to never disappoint.

I'd say changed. I was very skeptical towards ASIAV and TFES in the beginning sounded like a disaster to me. Thankfully I got used to the new direction, TFES became my favourite album of 2012 and by the way I got into all tracks from ASIAV. I may say I'm a fan of all their music, including demos compilation. Still, my favourite release remains Scraping the Flesh, to my mind it has even better moments than TBFU.

On the other hand, Scraping the Flesh may now be counted as a completed album. No need to worry, mates. These works are outstanding anyway.

The story is almost like Matrix, with black man picking a random guy, picking him far from civilization and offering pills.
