Back in 2013 I was under very heavy impression (still am) from this album, ' holy trinity of death metal with suffo and disgorge', 'heaviest album I have ever heard' etc and it was stacked year for death metal too (Gorguts, Suffocation (with best drummer they ever had), Gigan, Wormed, Abyssal, Portal, Ulcerate) all the more stronger mine impression was. now if you told me back then I would like Psalms more decade later I would look at you crazy but I would not argue much. if you told me I would rediscover how good Psalms actually always were and Defeated Sanity would make not 1 but another 2 albums better than this (2020, 2024)... holy trinity indeed.

The production on this album is so much better than their other albums. I can actually hear what the guitars are doing most of the time. Don't get me wrong, I like all their stuff, but this one is the most enjoyable to listen to besides Dharmata for similar reasons
