From a Facebook conversation me and Nirmala had last year The "V15.85" is a code taken from volume nine of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-9), and it represents a "personal history of exposure to potentially hazardous body fluids." When my husband and I were dating, he was working for NYU's Health Center as a coder and would send me lists of interesting codes (yes, I find codes interesting). When trying to come up with lyrics for "Silent Seven", I wanted some sort of chant for the chorus, so I turned to these codes and settled on "V15.85". Like the music but man am I not sorry that they've broken up. They were rubbish live. It was the first time I was ever more blown away by the opening acts than the actual band.
