I remember when this album came out. I was spending the summer in Toronto. I used to listen to it while driving around the city. With the windows down, adding human interaction from the busy streets to the atmosphere of sound from this record. This album has aged so greatly and nostalgically. It reminds me how microcosmic nuances in life are sometimes overlooked.

Connan Mockasin is definitely one of the most creative singers of the last years. The only problem I have with his two albums, is that his awesome music sounds like it had been recorded in the bathroom. I wish his next album, Connan will forget that particular mastering without loosing his natural vibe.
