one '6-tracks' album got another 3 albums of remixes (with 33 remixes in total) - a great example of how lazy ppl are :c love their own tracks, but all those remixes makes me frustrated..

I like this band.

i remember asking them on Myspace why they were blatantly ripping EITS off back when they started out in 2007(and had just a couple hundred fans). They deleted my comment so no one else could see it. They're really no better than the big money record labels that churn out auto-tuned pop stars who sing the same songs re-hashed over and over again. That isn't art, it's business...and that is why Codes in the Clouds isn't worth listening to.

why is post-rock the only style that gets shit on 'for all sounding the same' when there are other genres far more saturated with similar sounding bands? Maybe it's because it mostly lacks vocals to differentiate for most people? Either way, it doesn't matter providing it's done well and not exactly a copy of other bands.

I don't mind that, at times, they sound a lot like Explosions in the Sky. I just wish they also didn't have "in the" included in their name as well as a reference to something above us. :/

Love these guys. Their music really does get deeper into me. One can only hope the best for these guys - I sincerely wish more would listen to them.

Well, I also agree that post-rock count many REALLY similar bands. However, as long as it's good music (which is the case here), I don't give a fuck if it's sounding just like some other bands, which I'd probably enjoy too.

Yes Tortoise sounds exactly like Mogwai sounds exactly like Sigur Ros sounds exactly like Explosions in the sky sounds exactly like This will destry you etc etc etc (Sarcasm)

all genres can appear like that, but post-rock, well, unfortunatly, most of it sounds exactly the same.
