Ladyfest Leicester’s core objective is to promote and celebrate the creativity of women while raising money for good causes. Most music and arts festivals are still male dominated; Ladyfest Leicester will help restore the balance and provide a safe and comfortable environment for artists to perform and exhibit their work. Ladyfest Leicester will be held over a weekend in October with most of the events happening under one roof and all happening simultaneously; and we will be showcasing music, literature, art and workshops over the weekend. We have a DIY ethos and and aim to build a collective community. Anybody is welcome to get involved...gay or straight, male or female and any ethnicity! Revolution Ladyfest Leicester Style:)
