Meredith Music Festival is held over three days every December on private farmland in Victoria, Australia.
How much?
Tickets to the Seventeenth Meredith are as follows:
REGULAR WEEKEND TICKET
$149.95
FRIDAY ENTRY TICKET
$34.95
Plus booking fees. If you purchase online there will also be a postage fee.
This of course includes all camping and parking.
Please note you CANNOT just come for the Friday; every Friday Entry Ticket MUST be accompanied by a Regular Weekend Ticket to gain access to the festival.
How many tickets are there?
There are 10,000 tickets for sale to this year’s Meredith - same as last year. In 2006 we reduced total people at the festival by around one thousand compared to 2005; we are sticking with that slightly smaller crowd.
Children under 10 are free. There are no other concessions or discounts.
Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced. We have no way of verifying that lost tickets are genuinely lost, so it's a blanket 'no' on that one. Sorry, but try to see it from our side. Heaps of people try it on. Guard your ticket with your life, treat it like cash, it can't be replaced.
There are two types of tickets sold. One is a Regular Weekend Ticket, which every person must have to enter the festival. This gives entry from 8am on the Saturday and gives the holder Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday at the event. The other ticket is a Friday Entry Ticket, which allows entry from 2pm on the Friday, and gives the holder Friday day and night, Saturday day and night, and Sunday day at the festival. There is NO CAMPING SUNDAY NIGHT. You must leave by 5pm Sunday.
You will need Photo ID to prove you are over 18 if you wish to enter a licensed area on site, or purchase alcohol from any of the bars. Even if you are 55 and look 70, if you haven't got ID, you won't be served.
