Beacons Metro x Last.fm presents World Island
Previously a traditional camping festival in the serene Yorkshire Dales (see our photo galleries from that here), Beacons has now morphed into the frighteningly fantastic Beacons Metro in Leeds, with events spread over the autumnal months leading into December. Take your pick from the likes of Clark, Everything Everything, Last.fm session artist Portico, Factory Floor and Daniel Avery and you're all of a sudden faced with the dilemma of "shit, how am I going to fit anything else into my life over the next few months?"
We're only here to make your dilemma worse, as we've teamed up with Beacons for a second year running to present World Island; a progressive lineup featuring some of the most celebrated names of the kind of rock music you wouldn't quite be able to explain to your mates down the pub.
Over the dates of Friday 30th/Saturday 31st October at Headrow House and Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen respectively, we're presenting long-time Last.fm favourites Bo Ningen (pictured above at Sonisphere 2014) alongside Acid Mothers Temple, Grumbling Fur and Wolf People to name but a few, plus DJs from psyche-rock label Bad Vibrations and more.
