F.W. Murnau’s tragic love story, in which a farmer falls under the spell of a seductive city woman, is placed into a universe of dark, ambient drones and hypnotic orchestration by Sunn O)))’s legendary noise/drone master, Stephen O’Malley.

O’Malley’s collaboration with Peter Rehberg, aka KTL, is based on a cascade of live guitars and computer programming and effects. Here, they perform live to create an intense, all-embracing soundtrack.
