The next PUSSY FAGGOT! will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at The Delancey. Subtitled, “Homo for the Holidays,” the event features a PUSSY FAGGOT! Pop Up Boutique where you can fulfill your gift-giving imperatives for the holidays and simultaneously support queer artists! We’ll also be celebrating opening night of Justin Bond: Christmas Spells!
The evening kicks off at 8 pm as Ben Rimalower brings the gift of Patti LuPone. The acclaimed director steps into the spotlight to present a workshop reading of his solo show about his longtime relationship with the Broadway diva.
Join us at 9 pm for a East Village Boys Happy Hour featuring a live performance by B0DYH1GH (Max Steele and Daniel Sander) accompanied by video projections. Our roster of DJs for the night includes Ben Haber (JUDY), Andrew Andrew and Nita Aviance!
Performances continue throughout the evening on two levels hosted by the inimitable Penny Arcade. Confirmed performers include: AMASS (Elizabeth Orr and Savannah Knoop), Nath Ann Carrera, Clifton, Philadelphia’s “drag pariah” Needles Jones, Sean Luby (of Humble Tripe), Glenn Marla, Amber Martin, Bradford Scobie’s ‘Moisty the Snowman,’ Seth Sugar and – direct from Madison, Wisconsin – Shane Shane!
True creatures of the night can enjoy a late nite underground set hosted by Jordan Fox with music by DJ Nita. Performers include double Out Music Award nominee Kid Akimbo, the emo/punk/goth/house musical project Princess Tiny and the Meats; electronic dance band Tayisha Busay.
