The Tango Saloon

The Tango Saloon was originally put together to perform music from Julian Curwin's debut album of the same name, a wild mix of tango, spaghetti western and everything in between, with an array of musicians playing everything but the kitchen sink. The album was met with great acclaim and released by Mike Patton's Ipecac label in 2006. The band's recent second album 'Transylvania' follows in similar fashion, perhaps a little bit darker yet managing to add some upbeat gypsy brass and cha cha into the mix.
